I’m finally blogging, thanks to my amazing daughter. She is so awesome, I don’t even know where to begin.
“Wait, I do,” said the daughter.
“It started one crisp fall day in Michigan, the kind of day where the leaves turn crimson and rattle in the trees, where the wind slips under your jacket, and small children gather dead dry leaves, make piles with them, and leap with giggling glee into the piles. It was on one such day, when Mom was walking me to kindergarten class. A gorgeous day, a perfect autumn day. A day filled with promise.
Or maybe that was the day my elementary school burned down. I get the two days confused.
Anyway, welcome to my Mom’s blog!”
